FD Pensioen Debat

The FD organises two times per year the FD Pensioen Debat, to coincide with the publication of the FD Pensioen print specials May 2017 and  October 2017. During the debate, the subject of the print special is discussed in greater detail and the public is given the opportunity to engage in discussion with experts and decision-makers from the Dutch pension community. These debates take approximately 1-1,5 hours and can be broadcasted at a later time on BNR Nieuwsradio. The debate is accompanied by a strong promotional campaign on BNR Nieuwsradio and in Het Financieele Dagblad, both on- and offline.

Benefits for the sponsor

The sponsor is linked to the FD Pensioen Debat by its name, logo and pay-off line. This means that the sponsor will be present in all of the promotional messages. FD Mediagroep takes care of the media campaign, creation, debate moderation, editorial, project management, production (commercials and advertisements), concept development, use of FD logo, textual and photographic reporting. The proposal excludes the hiring of a hall (unless the location is Dauphine), catering, hospitality, furniture, staging, technical resources, video reporting and any possible costs associated with hiring speakers.


Radio: 84 promo commercials (4 per day) with a spot length of 30 seconds, of which 5 seconds are dedicated to the sponsor, in the period three weeks prior to the debate, announcing the debate and subject, from Monday to Sunday between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Radio: 4 sponsor credits (every half hour), opening and closing of the debate with sponsor name announcement and pay-off line of sponsor (“this programme was produced in association with ...”). Print: 6 full-colour promotional adverts announcing the event in Het Financieele Dagblad (advertisement page), 146 x 222 mm, incl. sponsor logo. Online: logo sponsor on landing page fd.nl/debat with possibility to register.


The net/net outlay for this sponsor proposition is € 45,000.

About BNR Nieuwsradio and Het Financieele Dagblad

The FD and BNR Nieuwsradio have independent editorial teams. Determining the speakers and sections of the debate is done in consultation between the sponsor and the editors. Both parties need to be able to associate with the chosen theme. The editorial content of the debate is decided, independently, by the editors of BNR Nieuwsradio.
